The Problem
This is the first of many posts that we'll file under "small changes for big impact". Whether it's for adornment, or to address a problem like we've done with this property, in many cases only a small change is needed to increase your home's curb appeal or overcome a historic problem. The Bermuda grass in the front of this home in Coppell was receiving too much shade and over time had thinned out. There is a large Red Oak in the yard that has been pruned as much as can be, so the situation was not going to resolve itself.
The Solution and Design
We used our 3D visual landscape design software to show the homeowner exactly what the recommended solution would look like; ground cover was added to maintain green in the front yard and Encore Azaleas will add color three times a year when they flower.
